WORKING PRINCIPLE

How It Works

The rotary vane blower operates on a straightforward principle:

1. Components:

   • A cylindrical housing contains a rotor that is mounted off-center.
   • The rotor has several vanes (flat blades) inserted into slots, which can slide in and out as the rotor rotates.

2. Intake and Compression:

   • As the rotor spins, the vanes are forced outward by centrifugal force (or sometimes springs) and maintain contact with the inner wall of the housing, forming individual air chambers.
   • Air enters the blower through the inlet port into the chamber with maximum volume.
   • As the rotor rotates, the chamber volume decreases, compressing the trapped air.

3. Discharge:

   • The compressed air is expelled through the outlet port as the chamber reaches its smallest volume.
